Terms of Service

Last updated October 23, 2026

Who you’re dealing with

Spokane.Link is run by August SEO, LLC in Spokane, Washington. These terms cover the dashboard at app.spokane.link and every short link, file link and bio page served on our domains: spokane.link, spkn.to, spk.bio, efile.zip, spokane.photo, spokane.lol and spo.wtf. Creating an account or using the service means you agree to them.

Your account

You need to be 18 or older, or signing up for a business that has said you can. Use an email address you actually read. Confirmations, password resets and notices about the service all go there.

Keep your password to yourself. Whatever happens under your login is your responsibility, so write to mail@spokane.link if you think someone else has it.

One free account per person or business. A second one opened to get around the limits gets both closed.

Plans and limits

The Free plan’s limits are listed in the pricing section on spokane.link. Pro and Business are listed too, but they aren’t for sale yet. When they are, you’ll see the price and what it includes before you’re charged.

We may change what a plan includes. If a change takes something away from you, we’ll email first, and anything you’ve paid for runs to the end of the period you paid for.

What you put on it stays yours

Your links, files, bio pages and contact cards belong to you. You give us permission to store them, serve them, redirect to them, make QR codes from them and keep them in backups, as far as running the service needs. You’re responsible for having the right to publish what you upload.

Files and bio pages are public to anyone who has the address. Don’t upload anything you wouldn’t hand to a stranger.

What isn’t allowed

Short links on shared domains are only as good as the domain’s reputation. One phishing link on spokane.link can get the whole domain flagged by browsers and email filters, and every customer’s links go down with it. So these are out:

  • Phishing, malware, scams, or anything built to get a password or payment out of someone.
  • Spam, including short links used to slip past spam filters.
  • Anything illegal, or that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark.
  • Sexually explicit material. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities.
  • Harassment, threats, or pretending to be a person or business you aren’t.
  • Redirect chains or cloaking that hide where a link really goes.
  • Bio page forms that ask for passwords, card numbers, Social Security numbers or health information.
  • Scraping, load testing, or anything else that slows the service down for everyone else.

When we step in

If a link or page breaks these rules, or puts visitors or the domains at risk, we can disable it, remove it, or suspend the account. Usually we’ll email you first. With phishing or malware we won’t wait.

We can also hold back or reclaim a short address that’s misleading, uses someone else’s trademark, or that we need for the service itself. To report abuse, send the full link to mail@spokane.link.

Who owns a short address

All seven domains belong to August SEO, LLC. An address like spkn.to/menu is yours to use while your account is open and in good standing. It isn’t property: you can’t sell or transfer it, and it gives you no rights in the domain itself.

Copyright complaints

If something on Spokane.Link infringes your copyright, email mail@spokane.link with the link, the work it infringes, your contact details, and a statement that you own the work or are authorized to act for the owner. We’ll take it down while we look into it and let the account holder know. They can send a counter-notice to the same address.

No guarantees

Printed links are the whole point, so uptime gets taken seriously. Even so, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, as far as the law allows.

Click counts are estimates. We filter out the bots we can spot, but privacy tools and link previews still bend the numbers.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, August SEO, LLC isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or $100.

If someone brings a claim against us over content you published or your breaking these terms, you’ll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

Closing an account

You can stop using Spokane.Link whenever you like, and delete your account yourself under Settings. If your account owns one of our domains, email mail@spokane.link instead and we’ll close it with you.

Once it’s gone, your links stop working right away and the files behind your file links are deleted within 30 days. We can close an account that breaks these terms, as described above.

Changes and the fine print

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. If a change matters for how you use the service, account holders get an email before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by Washington State law, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Spokane County. Questions about any of it: mail@spokane.link.
